Marial went on to play college basketball at the University of Virginia before finishing his college career at Iowa State University, which resulted in him being the first player from Ottawa to be drafted into the NBA to the Philadelphia 67ers."

Last summer Sean helped Marial bounce back from an injury he suffered during the NBA summer league. Over the course of 6 weeks in Phoenix together, Sean oversaw Marial’s training, rehabilitation & nutrition working with him on the court and in the weightroom. Marial went on to have his best season as a professional, leading the Maine Celtics G-League team in scoring.
